I watched my sister, Kalaimaani Sarayu Sai, dance phenomenally at the age of five, moving with a grace and rhythm that spoke far beyond her years. I saw my daughter, Mitra Kountinya, begin to sing before she even started speaking — her soprano voice rising at the age of two, pure and fearless.
In those moments, I understood something profound: prodigies are not accidents. They are sparks — sparks of possibility that can light up entire worlds if nurtured.
Witnessing legends on the world stage — and prodigies in my own family — inspired me to take a path of purpose. I became a coach to help teens and young adults recognize the same pattern in life: to discover their purpose, align with it, and unlock their hidden potential.
Everyone has an arena of greatness waiting to be discovered. Coaching, for me, is about unlocking that hidden potential
Because here’s the truth: thoughts become reality. What you imagine, you can become. And when purpose fuels desire, and desire drives action, greatness is no longer out of reach — it’s inevitable.
When we look at history, it is often the youngest who remind us of what is truly possible.
At just sixteen, Mithali Raj scored a century on her ODI debut. Sachin Tendulkar, the boy wonder of Indian cricket, walked into a Test match at the same age and not long after scored his first century at seventeen. In tennis, Boris Becker lifted the Wimbledon trophy at seventeen, while Monica Seles conquered the French Open at sixteen. In football, Catarina Macario emerged as a prodigy at twelve before rising to the U.S. Women’s National Team.
These young legends didn’t just play their sport — they redefined it. They showed the world that greatness isn’t bound by age.
What connects these champions is a universal truth:
